Triathlon Estonia organizes a trip to worlds most northern ironman competition, Laponia triathlon that takes place in Gällivare, Sweden on July 6th, 2019 laponiatriathlon.com
We have taken part of it before a couple of times as competitors and organizers and it’s a totally different and very cool trip. It’s confirmed now that in 2019 we’ll help to organize the competition once again, also there’s Argo Miller already signed up for ironman and Nikita Tšerednitšenko for sprint distance. The whole trip will cost 800 € (sprint is 600 €) for a competitor: it includes participation fee, transport and accommodation. For accompanying person it will cost 550 €. The trip will last for 6 days/5 nights, we’ll start from Tallinn on Tuesday (July 2nd) morning and we’ll be back in Tallinn on Sunday (July 7th) evening. We’ll travel by 2-3 cars or a minibus depending on the number of people. We’ll get to Finland by a ferry and then it’s a 1000km car drive from Helsinki to Gällivare.
